TEST SHOOT ASSIGNMENT

By opting for one-of-a-kind vintage linens and an eclectic mix of pastel plateware from my tabletop prop collection, plus fresh florals (sprigs of petite lilies, budding tulips, and frilly carnations) from trusty Trader Joe’s—we created a gathering that felt personal, seasonal, and effortlessly styled.

The vibe is soft, feminine, and delicately pretty, like a breath of Spring captured in a moment. Everything feels light and graceful, with gentle colors, airy textures, and details that invite you to lean in closer. There’s a quiet elegance to it—nothing loud or overstated, just subtle beauty layered thoughtfully: petal-soft hues, fine glassware catching the light, tender florals, and touches that feel romantic without trying too hard. It’s the kind of atmosphere that feels warm, welcoming, and slightly whimsical, where every element whispers rather than shouts, creating a look that’s refined, charming, and effortlessly lovely.

The beauty of eggs lies in their incredible versatility, from cozy comfort to elevated presentation across a range of dishes. They can anchor a rich, spiced shakshuka, add indulgence to a fried egg breakfast sandwich with a golden, runny yolk, bring depth and silkiness to a bowl of ramen with perfectly soft-boiled halves, or transform into jewel-toned beet-pickled eggs served alongside crisp crudité for a striking, artful touch. Whether rustic, refined, or globally-inspired, eggs adapt seamlessly, making them one of the most dynamic and visually appealing ingredients in any recipe!

We captured side-by-side alternatives to demonstrate the full creative range and strategic flexibility of the imagery, showing how the same scene can serve distinct visual purposes depending on the brand’s needs. In one version, the composition functions as polished CPG campaign photography, with the Vital Eggs product subtly peeking into frame to anchor the shot in brand identity while still feeling lifestyle-driven and aspirational. In the alternate version, the product is removed entirely, allowing the image to transform into pure editorial storytelling—something that could live seamlessly on the pages of a print magazine or cookbook. This approach highlights how a single set can yield both commercial and editorial assets, maximizing production value while ensuring the visuals feel intentional, elevated, and adaptable across multiple platforms and use cases.
