I love meeting new people and helping others break into the industry! Please introduce yourself via email (hello@kendraaronson.com) with your contact information and your website/resume.

How did you get started in food styling?
Truthfully—completely by accident! Over a decade ago I worked behind-the-scenes solo on my first cookbook from 2013-2015. As I was doing all the cooking, plating, and photographing, I started to piece together that these were niche specialties I could pursue. Over the years I slowly built up my own portfolio and industry network by assisting some incredible lead food stylists in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and collaborating with talented food photographers on test shoots. Nowadays I focus on the trifecta of food styling, drink styling, and tabletop prop styling, plus some ocassional recipe development.

Can I pick your brain about self-publishing a cookbook?
